Jim’s Blog: ACC Question of the Month — What Car Should You Have Bought?
We’ve all been there: A great car comes up at a great price, but you just aren’t in a spot to do anything about it. Maybe it’s a lack of funds, maybe it’s a lack of parking places. Either way, the deal slips away, quickly becoming one of your car person regrets.
What car deals have you missed, and what were they? A 427 Cobra for $3,000 in 1973? How about a ’70 SS 454 Chevelle for $20,000 in 1998? ACC wants to know about it.
Share your thoughts, including the details of the car — year, make, model, price, condition, and any background information you have on the situation, in the comments below. We’ll run responses in the next issue of American Car Collector — where we can all lament the error of our ways and promise ourselves to jump on the next great deal when it comes along.
