Amelia Island Concours Founder Bill Warner recently sent us a picture of himself and his copy of Sports Car Market.

He added the comments, “SCM is the pulse of the collector car culture. Every page is educational. Legal Files columnist John Draneas’ articles have priceless information and advice. I would not miss a single issue.”

Keith Martin has been involved with the collector car hobby for more than 30 years. As a writer, publisher, television commentator and enthusiast, he is constantly on the go, meeting collectors and getting involved in their activities throughout the world. He is the founder and publisher of the monthly Sports Car Market, now in its 33rd year. Keith has written for the New York Times, Automobile, AutoWeek, Road & Track and other publications, is an emcee for numerous concours, and had his own show, “What’s My Car Worth,” shown on Velocity. He has received many honors, including the Lee Iacocca Award, the Edward Herrman Award, was inducted into the Concorso Italiano Hall of Fame and more. He is on the boards of directors of The LeMay Museum and Oregon Ballet Theater, and was formerly the chair of the board of the Meguiar's Award.

    Keith: We met at the 1995 California Mille where I drove my black 356A Porsche coupe that I bought new (and still own) with factory-installed Rudge knock-off wheels. I’ve been a subscriber since 1996. The first thing I go to in each issue is John Dranaes’ arfticle.

    It takes some time for me to read each issue – I literally read it cover-to-cover.

    I’m surprised how much I really enjoy reading each issue – there is a lot of great info contained within.

    I didn’t know that some of these topics interested me until I started reading about them!
