# Sports Car Market > Sports Car Market (SCM) is a monthly print and digital magazine, founded in 1988 by Keith Martin, covering the collector car hobby: buying, selling, valuing, and investing in classic and sports cars. SCM is best known for pioneering the standardized collector-car auction report (VIN, mileage, condition, sale price, and reporter commentary) and for maintaining a database of more than 400,000 auction sales spanning over 30 years. The company also publishes an annual Pocket Price Guide, a Restoration Guide, a Concours Guide, event guides to Monterey Car Week, Arizona Car Week and the Rétromobile Paris Auctions, the Amelia Concours and Moda Miami, a weekly email newsletter, and a large archive of contributor-written columns and in-depth car profiles. ## About - [About Sports Car Market Magazine](https://www.sportscarmarket.com/about): Overview of the magazine, its history, and mission. - [Keith Martin](https://www.sportscarmarket.com/about/keith-martin): Extensive biography of SCM's founder and publisher (38+ years running the magazine), covering his writing career, concours emcee work, television show "What's My Car Worth," racing history, awards, and role developing the SCM auction-reporting format. - [Jeff Sabatini](https://www.sportscarmarket.com/author/jeff-sabatini): Editor-in-Chief of Sports Car Market magazine. - [Rory Jurnecka](https://www.sportscarmarket.com/author/rory-jurnecka-2): Senior Editor of Sports Car Market magazine. - [Staff](https://www.sportscarmarket.com/staff): The magazine's editorial and business staff. - [SCM Contributors](https://www.sportscarmarket.com/scm-contributors): Alphabetical directory of the columnists and writers who contribute to the magazine. - [Contact Us](https://www.sportscarmarket.com/contact-us) - [Advertising](https://www.sportscarmarket.com/advertising) ## Buyer's Guides Buyer's Guides aggregate information helpful to someone researching a specific make and model of collector car prior to purchasing a car.
