A 2001 Aston Martin previously owned by Michael Jordan will be auctioned during the 38th Annual Leake Collector Car Show and Auction in Dallas. The Rannoch red convertible features a premium sound system, heated front windshield and a custom red top that matches the body color. Documentation is available to confirm the previous ownership.
The Leake Collector Car Show and Auction will take place in Dallas Market Hall, November 19-21. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and $7 for children. Doors open at 9 am daily and the auction begins at noon on Friday, 10 am on Saturday and 11 am Sunday.
The event will feature 500 vehicles including Cadillacs, Corvettes, Camaros, Shelbys, Mopars, Thunderbirds and other vintage, collector, muscle and specialty cars. More than 10,000 car buyers, sellers and enthusiasts are expected to attend the milestone event.
“For 38 years, this auction has been an integral experience for car lovers and consistently delivered some of the best automobile collections out there,” said Richard Sevenoaks, president of Leake Auction Company. “This year is no different. We have an excellent selection and an unbelievable assortment of high-performance vehicles.”
Featured at this year’s auction will be a 2005 Ford Mustang that was featured as Barricade in the first Transformers movie. In addition, the Karmann Ghia from Drew Barrymore’s movie Whip It will also be auctioned.

1967 Corvette – an original matching numbers car, this Corvette has been Bloomington Gold Certified as a Big Block Survivor.
1946 Delahaye 135M Roadster – In the early 1980’s, this car was shipped from Holland to California where it was rebodied by the second owner. The drive train remained extremely authentic and still retains the triple Solex carburetors that were original to the vehicle.
1968 Dodge 426 Charger R/T Hemi J-Code – Decoded and verified by Galen Govier. The rotisserie restoration on this car was done to match the original color and options. This car was a Special Order / Military EXPORT ordered car with loaded options for its time.
1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 – Hugger Orange Z with Protect-o-Plate was sold new in Texas. This car was a show car for a number of years before it was sold to Bridgestone Tire Company. It was given away by Bridgestone Tire Company to promote the introduction of their Potenza Tire Line.
1959 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible – a very rare and beautiful vehicle, it is one of only 1,320 ever made. This was an all new Eldorado featuring towering tailfins, making this Cadillac one of the best-known icons in the 1950’s.
1941 Ford ½ Ton Pickup – flathead 8 cylinder, 4-speed manual transmission with wood bed and rails. Originally used as a Falstaff Beer delivery truck. Two wooden kegs are on the flatbed.
2009 Chrysler 300C ‘Golden Globe’ Sedan – during the 2009 Golden Globe awards, this car sat on the red carpet to be signed by hundreds of celebrities, including: Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz, Mariah Carey, Nicole Kidman, George Clooney, Keith Urban and many more.
