RM Sotheby’s Adds Le Mans Spice to Monterey Auction

RM Sotheby’s continues to build an eye-popping lineup of cars to their August 19-20 Monterey Auction.

Chassis XKD 501, the 1955 Jaguar D-type that Ninian Sanderson and Ron Flockhart drove to Le Mans victory in 1956, simply drips with history.

RM Sotheby’s is also offering a 1962 Ferrari SP with Le Mans history. Chassis 0798 was part of the famous Bardinon Collection and won the Platinum Award at the 2001 Cavallino Classic. Read more.
