New Director of Major Gift Development David Snow brings fundraising experience from World Vision
(Tacoma, WA) – The LeMay Museum welcomes J. David Snow as Director of Major Gift Development effective June 20, 2006 with the goal of gaining additional support for the Museum. Snow brings significant non-profit fundraising experience from World Vision, where he served as an Executive Director.
According to David Madeira, Chief Executive Officer, “[The LeMay Museum is] delighted to welcome David Snow to our team. He brings strong skills, fundraising and management experience, and real enthusiasm for the project.”
Snow grew up in Bremerton, Washington where his appreciation for automobiles developed from his father’s involvement with local Cadillac-Oldsmobile-Volvo and Lincoln-Mercury dealerships. He holds a BA (Bachelor of Arts) in Business Administration from the University of Washington and served three years in the Peace Corps in Guatemala. The bulk of his business career focused on regional, national and international sales management with two of the largest office furniture manufacturers. Most recently he spent over three years with World Vision, the largest privately-funded emergency relief and development organization, where he helped raise funds for emergency relief along with water, health, food, education, and economic recovery programs. Snow is a member of Rotary Club of Tacoma #8.
